The city of Hanušovice.

Hanušovice, like Vysoké Žibřidovice and today's Žleb (formerly Valteřice) belong to the oldest villages of the Šumper district. According to the deed dated May 3, 1325, which the knight Jan Wustehube ceded to the stone monastery in Silesia, the Old Town, then called Goldek (= golden corner), with ten villages, among them were Joannis villa, i.e. Janova-Hanušova ves, Syfirdesdorph - Žibřidovice and Waltersdorf - Valterice. The names themselves testify to the fact that they were villages founded as part of the colonization of this region sometime at the end of the 13th century, as they were named after their founders - locators Hanuš, Žibřid and Walter. All three villages were part of the Kolštejn estate (now Branná) from the beginning, while Hynčice nad Moravou, mentioned for the first time in 1414, then belonged to the Novigrad-Šumper estate and was later part of the Velkolosin estate.
