Obec Dolni Studenky

c. 99, Dolni Studenky 788 20
Dolní Studénky village.

Dolní Studénky is first mentioned in written sources in 1353. However, man settled on fertile soils in the Desná valley much earlier.

One of the villages founded at that time is Dolní Studénky. In the oldest records of the Earth's records, however, the name is not Studénky, but "Studenka". The name was probably given to the well, which once was here, and because in the nearby mountains in the Štíty region was established a village, which people say according to many wells "Studénky", both villages distinguished between Lower and Upper. Dolní Studánka gradually became Dolní Studénky (1881), Dolní Studýnky (1915) and, since 1924, the stable appearance of Dolní Studénky. We find the German name Schönbrunn for the first time in 1718.

From the first written record of the village, we learn that in 1353 Jan of Kravaře wrote in the land records of the local field of land and his wife Wok of Sovinec released the right to half "Studenka" Pavla ml. ze Sovince. The village, divided into various property parts, changed its owners during the 14th and early 15th centuries. It was probably united only after 1437, when most of it was bought by Jan Tunkl from Albert of Víckov and Kolšov. In 1466, Dolní Studénky was acquired among other goods by Jan Tunkl st. from Brníček and Zábřeh.
