Obec Zvole


The village of Zvole in Old Czech (zvóla, zvóle) was a term that expressed
the right to use municipal property in particular for grazing, hunting and fishing. Less likely is an interpretation that connects this place name with some scapes, respectively. stvolnatými rostlin. Zvole was a settlement until 1869 and again from 1919 otherwise independent Kolorédov, which was named after the Archbishop of Olomouc Colloredo-Waldsee. A stork was depicted in the seal of the village. Zvole is first named among the municipalities in a charter for the Mohelnice reeve from 1273.
