The village of Líšnice lies on the hillside of Bouzovská vrchovina in the Šumperk district in the Olomouc region. It is situated at an altitude of 320 m above sea level and its area is 973 ha. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1348. Líšnice currently has 355 permanent residents. And it is a part of the Mohelnice microregion.
