The village of Krčmaň is located in the Olomouc district in the Olomouc region. It lies by the Loučka stream less than 11 km southeast of Olomouc and is located in the Tršicko hop region. Currently, approx. 487 inhabitants.

The first written mention of the village dates back to 1252. In 1976, Krčmaň became part of the resort village of Velký Týnec, but from 1.1. In 1991, it became independent again.
With the boom of the Catholic movement, the "OREL" gymnasium was established in Krčman in 1909. In addition to physical education, the association was supposed to defend the interests of the Catholic religion. The association "Orel" together with the Catholic Omladina organized the Regional Congress in Krčman on June 12, 1910. He ended his work in 1948.

In the village there is a Kindergarten and primary school, a municipal library, TJ Sokol Krčmaň and Senior club Krčmaň. Children and their parents can visit the new modern playground with modern dynamic elements and play sets (swing, climbing tower with slide, springs, etc.) in their free time.
