c. 117, Jesenec 798 53
Municipal office Jesenec.

Jesenec, a village 28 km northwest of Prostějov, is located on the southern slope of the Horka castle on the road from Konica to Moravská Třebová. The altitude at the castle is 495 meters. The name originated from the name of the trees - ash trees, popularly called "autumns". The village has three parts - the part near the railway station is called Měrotínek (after the nearby forest, called "Hora Měrotínská"), the part near the neighboring Dzbele is called Drahy, and the part of the village from Konica called Spice.
The cadastral area of the village is 4.81 km2. On the border between Jesenka and Dzbele springs a small river called Jesenka. She got the name Romže from the Han people.
Over 330 inhabitants live in the village, of which 80 are in a retirement home.

As one of the oldest villages in Konicko, it is mentioned in old documents as early as 1351. For almost four centuries it belonged to the Konicko estate and was owned by several Moravian lordly families (Cholin, Tovačovský from Cimburk, family of lords from Švábenice or Zástřizl). The municipal seal had the emblem of the patron saint of the autumn church of St. Liboria.
