The integrated center for people with disabilities Horní Poustevna provides its clients with several types of social services, such as homes for people with disabilities, sheltered housing, support for independent housing and social therapeutic workshops - Dílna u Markétky. All our services are provided in an “unconstitutional” environment, clients live in separate homes, which are equipped as ordinary flats. Social services are intended for children and adults with all levels of mental disability, persons with physical and multiple disabilities. We operate in Horní Poustevna, Šluknov and Vilémov.
We are a contributory organization and our founder is the capital city of Prague.
Homes for people with disabilities:
- intended for children and adults aged 3 to 65 years with all levels of mental disability, physical and multiple disabilities
- capacity 90 beds
- locality Horní Poustevna, Vilémov, Šluknov.
Protected housing:
- intended for adults aged 18 to 64 years with all degrees of mental disability, with physical and multiple disabilities
- capacity of 20 beds
- family house Horní Poustevna and flats Šluknov.
Support for independent living:
- Field social service
- for persons aged 18 to 80 with mild to moderate mental disabilities, physical and multiple disabilities
- capacity of 15 clients.
Social therapeutic workshops, Dílna u Markétky:
- for clients aged 16 to 64
- development of working and self-service habits, skills
- capacity of 25 clients
- You can buy our products in our workshops in Šluknov and Horní Poustevna (Mon-Fri: 8:00 - 15:00).
We have been providing social services in the Šluknov promontory for more than 50 years, while respecting the private, opinion and rights of our clients and always working on an individual approach to the personality of the user.
