The village of Dobré Pole is located in the district of Břeclav in the South Moravian Region. It is a wine-growing village in the Mikulovsk wine sub-region.

The Czech name of the village, its Croatian and German equivalents indicate the fertility of the soil in the cadastre of the village.

The first written mention of the village dates back to 1350. Currently, 470 inhabitants live here.

Municipal amenities include a kindergarten, library, municipal office, post office, general store and an inn.

The parish church of St. Cecilia from the 18th century. There is also a statue of St. Florian, statues of St. John of Nepomuck, a cross from 1835 near the church and a chapel in the fields behind the village.

In the south of the village there is a small pond, which is immediately adjacent to the Slanisko Dobré Pole nature reserve, which is one of the last sites of salt-loving communities of rare and protected plant species not only in South Moravia, but also in Central Europe.

In the northeast, the cadastre extends into the hilly area, where the Dunajovické kopce national natural monument was established, which protects many species of rare organisms.
