Municipal office. Population 424.
The first documented mention of the village is found in a document from 1279. Originally a Slavic village in the 13th century colonized by German settlers and winemakers from today's Thuringia.
The wine village of Chvalovice consists of two parts - Chvalovice and the local part of Hatě.
