The village of Senorady is located in the Jevišovická upland in the South Moravian region in the district of Brno-venkov.
It is located at an altitude of 325 m above sea level and covers an area of 962 hectares.
The first written mention of the village dates back to 1351. Remains of a prehistoric fort, ancient coins and copper tools were also found in the village.
Currently, approximately 400 inhabitants live here.
The village has a hunting and fishing association, a volunteer fire brigade and Sokol. There is also a library, groceries, a multi-purpose sports field and a children's playground.
Senorady is located in the tourist area between the two rivers Jihlava and Oslava. On the outskirts of the village there was a defunct castle called Šance, and nearby are the ruins of Levnov Castle and Kraví Hory.
