The village of Nabočany is located 6 km east of the town of Chrudim in the Pardubice region.
A small stream called Ježděnka flows through the center of Nabočany.
The first mention of the village dates back to 1275, when a certain Dluhomil from Nabočany is mentioned. The owners often changed, they belonged to the more important personalities of the life of that time.
Currently, Nabočany has 127 inhabitants.
Among the historical monuments in the village there is a statue of St. John of Nepomuck and also a chapel.
The Volunteer Fire Brigade, which has a long tradition, also operates here.
