The village of Sobkovice is located at the southern end of the Pastvin Highlands on Faltus hill in Orlické horák in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí in the Pardubice region. Currently, 237 inhabitants live here.
Sobkovice is one of the members of the Association of Orlicko Municipalities.
The first written mention of the village dates from 1543.
