The village of České Libchavy is located in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí in the Pardubice region. The village stretches in the valley along the Libchav stream to the border with Libchav.

The first written mention comes from 1360. The village currently has 644 inhabitants.

The village has good civic amenities, there is a municipal office, kindergarten and primary school, post office, library, network of shops, bus connections, fire brigade, sports complex, gymnasium, children's playgrounds, cycle paths and hospitality.

Landmarks:
- Stronghold in the salient position "Skalka" in the eastern part of the village. The circular ditch, partially the embankment and depressions after the constructions have been preserved
- Church of St. Vita, Gothic from the second half of the 14th century, rebuilt in the Baroque style around 1780, the tower was added in 1843. The most valuable part of the building is the Gothic presbytery
- The vicarage was already documented in 1360
- Rococo statue of St. Jan Nepomucký from 1765 at house no. 65.
