The village of Svor
it was probably built in 1395, but the first written mention of the village is from 1502, where it is mentioned according to the then administrator as Rigersdorf (Rykrštorf).
The basis of today's residence Svor (then Riigersdorf) was an aristocratic farm and several homesteads. The inhabitants made a serious living from logging and charcoal production (remnants of miles in the woods).
