Obec Zubrnice

The village of Zubrnice is a small village located about 15 km from the regional town of Ústí nad Labem in the valley of the hills of the PLA České středohoří.

The village consists of parts of Zubrnice and Týniště, in which a total of 220 inhabitants live.

The first written mention of the village dates back to 1352.

Due to the rich collection of folk architecture, Zubrnice is an attractive and sought-after location for holding traditional fairs and also for filmmakers who choose the virgin nature here for their films.

In the village there is an open-air museum of folk architecture, several historic wooden buildings, a small water mill, the church of St. Mary Magdalene and also the railway museum.

A circular educational trail, 2.5 km long, runs through the valley of Luční potok, which introduces the natural attractions of the valley at twelve stops.
