Our zoo is located on the slope of Mariánská skála, a short walk from the city center, accessible by public transport and on foot.
The founder is the City of Ústí nad Labem. After the Second World War, there was a gradual expansion, in the 70s the total area was expanded to almost 30 ha, new enclosures and modernized exhibitions of exotic species of animals and large enclosures were built.
Here you will find enclosures for elephants, rhinos, giraffes and zebras, a monkey and beast pavilion, terrariums and a renovated pool with seals.
We offer a number of thematic events, which are listed in the calendar of events, experiential programs, guided tours with commentary and cultural and educational events not only for schools.
