The village of Poštovice is located in the Kladno district and is situated in a valley along both banks of the Vranský brook, which is also fed by the municipal pond. The Vranský stream divides Poštovice into two parts. On the smaller "lordly" side and the larger "peasant" side. The first written mention of the village dates from 1186. At present, Poštovice has 221 permanent residents.
