The village of Nučice can be found in the Central Bohemian Region, about seventeen kilometers southwest of Prague, in the district of Prague - West. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1037, but many archaeological finds prove that the history of the village goes much deeper. Nučice is also the birthplace of the painter Arnošt Paderlík.
