The village of Sedlečko u Soběslav is located on the right bank of the Černovický stream, approximately three kilometers northeast of Soběslav in the Tábor district of the South Bohemian Region. Currently, approx. 173 inhabitants. Since January 21, 2004, the village has been a member of the Soběslavsko Microregion.

The first mention of the village is recorded in historical written sources in a deed dated 9/30/1363.

Sights and attractions:
- Komorový rybník Dítě on the northern edge of the village
- Chapel of the Fourteen Holy Helpers.

In Sedleček there is a children's playground, a sports complex with basic equipment (toilet, 3 cubicles, parquet, playing area for volleyball or tennis). and there is a water supply and sewage system with a waste water treatment plant.

Citizens can also use a covered building near the Černovický stream where cultural events take place.

In the vicinity of the village there are forests, agricultural land and water bodies (ponds (Řezník, Dítě, Petřík and Návesák). The blue tourist route and cycle path number 1180 pass right through the village.
