The village of Radětice is located in the Tábor district in the South Bohemian Region, east of the Plziny Nature Park.

The establishment of the village is assumed to be around the year 500, and its name probably comes from the elder Radosta. The first written report about the village of Radětice can be found in a contract written in Latin dated June 17, 1291.
