The village of Kožlí is located in southern Bohemia in the district of Písek. It is located at an altitude of 398 m above sea level and covers an area of 4.33 km2. The village of Kožlí is a member of the Voluntary Union of Municipalities of Northern Písek. The first written mention of the village dates from 1396. At present, the village has 58 inhabitants.
