The village of Kváskovice is located in the district of Strakonice in the South Bohemian Region. The relevant municipality with extended powers is the district town of Strakonice. The village of Kváskovice is located about thirteen kilometers southeast of Strakonice. Currently there live 111 inhabitants.

The first written mention of the village dates from 1334.

Monuments in the village:
- on the square of the chapel of St. Jan Nepomucký - comes from the first half of the 19th century
- Chapel of the Virgin Mary - built in the middle of the 19th century, located on the outskirts of the village by the road to Paračov
- by the road to Radějovice there is a stone martyrdom built in 1842
- homestead No. 16 (cultural monument of the Czech Republic)

In the village there is the Municipal Library, the Association of Volunteer Firefighters Kváskovice - Skály and the Hunting Association Buková Kváskovice.
