The first written mention of the village dates from 1323. The village was founded in 1962 under the name Podolí II. In 1990 it was renamed Předotice.
The village of Předotice is located on the road in the direction of Písek - Prague. The village is known and frequently visited thanks to good refreshments and accommodation on the route. The surrounding area is especially suitable for cycling.
Monuments in the village and tourist attractions are, for example, the Chapel of St. Peter and St. Paul from 1936, the chapel in Kožlí near Čížová, the Passion of Christ in Malčice, the chapels in the adjacent settlements and the bell tower in Křešice.

In the village of Předotice there is a football field Šamonice, a volleyball court Malčice and a tennis court Malčice.
We also organize a lot of cultural events such as a pilgrimage in July, consecration (according to the dedication of the chapels), burning of witches, masquerade ball, etc. We also arrange regular tours for the citizens of the village.
