If you drive through southern Bohemia in the direction of Třeboň - Jindřichův Hradec, you will meet about halfway between STRÁŽ NAD NEŽÁRKOU. A few kilometers in advance, the presence of the town is announced by its dominant - the tower of the guard castle, which has guarded its surroundings in its unaltered form for several centuries and gives us a hand from the past. The town is located at an altitude of 452 m, in a region whose enormous wealth are water, forests, sand and peat.
