Třemošná is located in the Pilsen Region, 9 km north of Pilsen. Tremošenka brook flows through the center of the town. There are many other interesting places around the city. Part of the town Třemošná consists of Záluží and currently lives a total of 4962 people.
The first surviving report about Třemošná dates from 1181-1182, another mention from 1191, registered in the court Vienna archive.
