Postovni tiskarna cenin Praha, a.s. (Postal security printing office Prague, JSC) was established on 1 May 1992 through privatization of the former Ceska posta (Czech Post Office) plant Technicka ustredna spoju (Technical Exchange of Postal and Telecommunication Services).
However, we continue the tradition beginning in 1952, when the purpose-built postage printing works of the Ministry for Postal and Telecommunications Services were established for printing of postage stamps and other printed matters requiring a high degree of protection.
