The publishing house Doplnek, based in Brno, was founded in 1991 by Mr. Jan Šabata. The publishing house mainly publishes social science literature.
We publish editorial series of historical, psychological and socio-ecological publications.
We also focus on regional literature, which focuses mainly on the Brno area and its surroundings. Thanks to this, fiction also appeared in our publishing house, which later gave rise to editions of memoir prose and translations of contemporary world prose.
The publishing house is located in Brno at Kallabova Street 29.
