Obec Blatnicka


The village of Blatnička is located in the Hodonín district in the South Moravian Region, about 11 km east of Veselí nad Moravou. It is located in the Slovácko wine-growing sub-region - wine-growing routes: Vinohrádky, Novosady, Závaliska. At present, approx. 423 inhabitants.

The first written mention of the village dates from 1362. In 1605, the village was first burned and then completely devastated (further burns took place in 1663, 1683, 1706).

In 1930, a water supply system was built in the village of Blatnička, in 1939 a connection to electricity was made and in 1953 a television broadcast was started there.
