Obecni urad Sudomerice


The village of Sudoměřice is located in the Hodonín district in the South Moravian Region and is the southernmost village on the east bank of the Morava River in the Czech Republic. Sudoměřice is a wine village with lots of vineyards and wineries. The first written mention of the village comes from 1368. The village has approx. 1300 inhabitants. Nearby is the transition to Slovakia. The so-called Moravian Wine Trail passes through the village, which is the backbone route of a unique network of regional cycling routes passing through the picturesque landscape of South Moravia. Specifically, it is the Strážnice wine trail. There are 15 other wine-growing villages on the route, such as Strážnice, Petrov, Hroznová Lhota, Blatnice pod Sv. Antonínek and dozens of protected natural sites and important historical and architectural monuments of the region.
