We process grapes from the Mikulov sub-region using the most modern technology from the very beginning, without unnecessary interference and technological inputs, in order to preserve the natural character and expression of each variety and wine. In addition, we focus a lot on distinctive and typical varietal aromas and let the selected wines macerate for several days before pressing. Depending on the season, such a wide variety of varieties is slightly changing.
Due to the natural growing conditions of our vineyards and the whole region of Mikulov wine region, we focus mainly on white wines. In addition to the traditional, and without exaggeration, classic homegrown varieties such as Riesling and Rhine, Grüner Veltliner, Red Traminer and others, we focus on Burgundy varieties, which we have a lot to bet on and believe that they can achieve truly top wines.
We use a similar approach and production philosophy to blue varieties, which besides red wines are nowadays producing such a popular and sought-after rosé wine.
When visiting our winery or wine cellar there is a possibility of trips. We will be pleased to recommend you to visit the historic town of Mikulov, Mikulov Castle. It is also worth mentioning the Jewish cemetery and synagogue, Goat Castle, Holy Hill.
Our winery is very closely related to accommodation that we will provide you in our apartments in Lipa in Mikulov, or in the newly renovated apartment Pastuska in Brod na Dyji, near Mikulov.
