The Office of the Prague 22 District is one of the offices that are included in the system of exercising independent competence and exercising delegated competence in the capital city of Prague.
The position, organizational structure and activities are regulated by the Act on the Capital City of Prague, the Statute of the Capital City of Prague, resolutions of the city district authorities, internal regulations and other legal regulations.
In the area of independent competence in the territory of the Prague 22 district, it performs the tasks assigned to it by the Prague 22 district authorities - RMČ and ZMČ of the Prague 22 district, directs from a professional point of view contributory organizations established by the city district (unless a special law provides otherwise), helps commissions and committees in their work.
In the area of delegated competence in the territory of the Prague 22 district and further in the Prague-Benice, Prague-Kolovraty, Prague-Královice and Prague-Nedvězí districts, it performs state administration with the exception of matters that fall within the competence of a commission or special body.
The Prague 22 district consists of the mayor, deputy mayors, dismissed and dismissed councilors, secretaries, heads of trade unions and other employees.
The urban part of Prague 22 consists of the cadastral areas of Uhříněves, Pitkovice and Hájek u Uhříněvsi.
