The first JOV plant in KOVO - cranes is a joint-stock company ranking among the leading Czech manufacturers of steel structures and crane technologies. We have a long tradition on the market lasting since 1965. We build on the production experience of the previous JZD Rozvoj Posázaví Jílové near Prague. During our existence, we have produced approximately 1, 700 bridge cranes and many other steel structures. Our products serve reliably in the Czech Republic and abroad.
The KOVO plant not only procures and manufactures cranes, it also provides them with regular service, repairs, inspections and reconstructions.
Our activities include the production of bridge cranes (single-girder and double-girder), gantry cranes, semi-gantry cranes, mast cranes, cantilever cranes, slewing cranes, single-girder cranes with side unloading, overhead cranes, atypical custom cranes, bridge cranes with slewing cranes. Furthermore, crane tracks and hay grabs.
We also produce steel structures, steel stairs, steel ladders, steel hatches, custom production, production of hall structures, steel trusses, storage structures, rack warehouses, steel sheds, advertising banners, toll gates, custom production and metal production, turntables for rail vehicles and rail movable.
We provide reconstruction of bridge cranes, crane tracks, including geodetic surveying, reconstruction of cable lines and trolleys, replacement of hoists, increased load capacity, overload and anti-collision equipment, spare parts supply, bridge crane service, warranty and post-warranty service, regular inspections of cranes, spare parts and documentation.
