Pustina is a small village in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí.
It is located in a small depression at an altitude of 448 m above sea level. Whether you are coming from one side or the other, you will see it at the last minute. Almost the whole is hiding below the level of the surrounding terrain.
Pustina is the youngest village in the wider area and one of the smallest independent villages in the Pardubice region.
The first written mention of the village dates back to 1720 and currently has 58 inhabitants.
The village has built a multi-purpose building since 1972, which houses the seat of the municipal office, a meeting room, a common room of the Volunteer Fire Brigade and a library with public internet.
Furthermore, a water supply system, a sewerage system, a fire station, a water reservoir and also gasification were built.
The wide surroundings of the village are suitable for lovers of trips and hiking.
