The village of Zalešany is located in the Central Bohemian Region in the Kolín district. Part of the village is the village Přebozy, which is located about 1.5 km southeast of Zalešany. The first written mention of our village appears in 1319, during the reign of John of Luxembourg.

Slightly undulating landscape around our village is ideal for cycling and hiking. The monuments of the village include the chapel of St. Ludmila, built in 1812.
