The village of Vrbice is located in the Hradec Králové region, about nine kilometers southwest of the district town of Rychnov nad Kněžnou, in the foothills of the Eagle Mountains. The first written mention of the village dates from 1544. Part of Vrbice is a small village Chlínky. Currently, about 140 inhabitants live here. The municipality is a member of the voluntary association of municipalities Microregion Brodec.
The rolling landscape surrounding Vrbice offers many opportunities for hiking, directly through the village passes a marked hiking and biking trail, you can go to the lookout tower built on the nearby hill Kastel with beautiful views of the surroundings or visit NS Mezi Orlicemi.
