The village of Drahov lies in a slightly undulating landscape, about 4 km east of Veselí nad Lužnicí. The cadastre of the village consists of 511 ha of agricultural land, 450 ha of forests and 136 ha of ponds.

Drahov lies on the border of the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area, which extends south from the village.
Territorially, Drahov belongs to the South Bohemian region, Tábor district.

There are currently approximately 164 inhabitants living in the village.
