Private Elementary Art School - School for Joy v.o.s. offers education of children in various artistic fields. We try to capture talented students and develop their individual abilities and provide them with practical experience and skills.
Our team of qualified teachers is dedicated to children from preschool age to adult students and professionally prepares them for education at secondary schools and universities of artistic pedagogy or at conservatories.
We regularly organize concerts, class plays, exhibitions, competitions, parades of SZUŠ pupils, we also organize an annual gathering of music and art pupils and we organize foreign tours.
Private elementary art school, SZUŠ:
- education in the chosen art field
- preparation of pupils for education at secondary schools and universities of artistic pedagogy and at conservatories.
We teach the following arts:
- music field: piano playing, wind instruments, string instruments, guitar, accordion, music theory, singing department
- art field: preparatory art education (drawing, painting, basics of modeling from sculptural clay), surface creation, spatial creation, object and action creation.
Ceramics.
Our students perform at a number of domestic and international competitions and festivals, regularly bring various awards, recognitions and achievements, and also participate in public concerts organized on various anniversaries and other festive occasions.
The choir is a member of the Union of Czech Choirs and the Association of Basic Art Schools and has established cooperation with singer Petr Kotvald.
The school building is located at Smíchovská 96/3, Prague 5 - Řeporyje.
