The village of Lhotka lies at the foot of the 890 m high Ondřejník in the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. The first written mention is
from 1359 in the list of villages of the Hukvald estate. It has 486 inhabitants, 7.22 km2, altitude 433m.
Historically, the Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary from 1844 with the cast iron cross from 1864 that stands in front of it is valuable. There is a cast-iron cross from 1860 at the chancel No. 1. They are also significant
2 chapels, graves of Swedish soldiers from the Thirty Years' War and the Passion of God.
Next to the primary school building is a remarkable area with wooden buildings and a stage, where Socho's ethnographic festival takes place at the end of August. They are held in honor of former head teacher, patriot, collector of folk songs and dances from the Ondřejník area, author of ethnographic scenes, plays and manuscripts Vincenc Socha (1903-1970).
In the 17th - 19th centuries, iron ore and limestone were mined in Lhotka, which were transported to the smelters in Frýdlanta.
There are several ponds and 3 sources of streams on the cadastre of the village: Říčka and Lhotecký streams from the Ondřejnice basin and Velký stream from the Olešná basin.
The village has 488 inhabitants, an area of 722 hectares. There are bus connections to Frýdek-Místek, Frýdlant, Kozlovice, Frenštát and Kopřivnice.
The village maintains the tradition of a pilgrimage, a manger (consecration) with a traditional mass and Monday manger entertainment (October).
Tourist routes and cross-country trails lead through Lhotka around Ondřejník, to Hukvaldy and to Kopřivnice.
It is possible to camp in the "Kuřín" area by the pond.
