Krásná is situated in the mountain valley of the Mohelnice River, the left tributary of the Morávka River.
The valley is dominated by Lysá hora and Travný.
On the slopes of Mount Kyčery lies the local part, called Dolní Krásná.
In summer there is the possibility of hiking, swimming, fishing, tennis, picking berries, mushrooms, etc.
In winter it is skiing - cross-country skiing, downhill.
There are accommodation facilities, hotels, woodsmen welcome lonely hunting lodges.
Accessibility of the village is by bus.
The parts of the village are Visalaje, Zlatník, Mohelnice-center and Dolní Krásná.
