Village Kokory.

The Kokor area is one of the oldest known settlements in the Přerov region, as evidenced by archaeological findings dating back to the Bronze Age. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1279.

The village was gradually owned by the Lords of Kokor, Ludanic, Jesuits, study fund and finally Eichhoff, owners of the Rokytnice estate.

Kokory was promoted to the town by a decree of Ferdinand I in 1535 (Ludanic). In the 18th century, Kokory was owned by the Jesuits, after which Baroque monuments such as the Chapel of Sts. František Xaverský from 1724 and a brewery from 1761. There is also a statue of St. Florian, which was to protect the village from fire.

Other monuments include the Romanesque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin with the bell Jesus Christ from 1477, the baptistery from 1771 and the vicarage from the early 18th century. Furthermore, the renovated former Dominican monastery built in the neo-Gothic style (today serves as a saving for women). The unique covered staircase to the church and the stylish Rondocubist school represent the 20th century.
