Obec Usti

Usti 33, Usti 753 01
The village of Ústí is located in the Přerov district, in the southeastern part of the Olomouc region. The cadastre with an area of 331.46 ha is located on the left bank of the Bečva River at an altitude of 260 m above sea level. The village is composed of two historical parts, Ústí and Novosada, and it also includes 6 houses in the locality called Mariánské údolí.

The municipality of Ústí is bordered to the north by the town of Hranice and the municipality of Černotín, to the east by the municipalities of Skalička and Horní Těšice, to the south by the municipalities of Malhotice and Opatovice, and to the west by the municipality of Teplice nad Bečvou. The town of Hranice, which is less than 5 km away, offers more job opportunities and lacks civic amenities.

In the village you will find a municipal office, a primary school, a kindergarten, a cultural center, Hospůdka U Čápa, a library with public internet, a grocery store, a sports complex including a picnic area, a football, children's and multi-purpose playground. All the infrastructure is here – gas pipeline, water supply and sewerage with a waste water treatment plant.

The Jantarová stezka international cycle route, the Greenways Krakow-Morava-Wien cycle route, the Bečva cycle route and the regional water and windmill trail pass through the cadastre of the village. Folk traditions are observed in the village - watering the bear, clapping, cutting down the may and the pilgrimage of St. Peter and Paul. Active interest organizations are the Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Sport for All Association, the Nihlov Hunting Association, the Society of Nature Conservators, and above all the Sokol Ústí Physical Education Unit, which, in addition to sports activities (football team of adults, older and younger students), also offers visitors accommodation in the new Navsi guesthouse . Since 2008, an educational trail called the "Health Trail" has been running through the surroundings and center of the village, which will introduce visitors to the village's history and present.
