Obec Klokočí:
The name of the village of Klokočí is derived by experts from the shrub "kangaroo", whose fruits already appear on the municipal seal from 1766.
However, the first written mention of the village dates back to 1371 and confirms that Klokočí was part of the Drahotuš estate.
From 1408 to 1476, Klokočí belongs to the Lords of Cimburk as part of the Drahotuš estate. After the Battle of White Mountain the estate was confiscated and Cardinal Dietrichstein became the new owner in 1622. Klokočí, as part of the Hranice estate, is then held by the Dietrichstein family for 300 years. Since 1894 in Klokočí Chronicle, where we can read about the oldest history of the village, its development and settlement. In 1911, a one-class school was built in the village.
