Hrabuvka 61, Hrabuvka 753 01
The village of Hrabůvka is situated at an altitude of 305 to 345 m above sea level below the Hůrka hill (443 m above sea level) in the Přerov district. Currently there live 317 inhabitants.
The first written mention of the village dates from 1371. The local chronicle dates the first written mention of the village in 1530 and 1569, when there were documented 14 inhabitants.
It is said that the name Hrabůvka comes from hornbeam stands, which together with oak stands prevailed in the original forests. Another version derives the historical name from peasant tools, rakes, depicted on the village seal from 1766. Both symbols then appear together in the form of the so-called double-speaking contemporary emblem of the village.
