The village of Pržno is located in the Vsetín district in the Zlín region.
In written sources, Pržno is mentioned for the first time in 1372. Currently, the village has 623 permanent residents.
There is a nursery school, the first grade of a primary school, a municipal office, a library and a restaurant.
The Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Seniors' Club and the Association of Parents and Friends of the school also operate here.
Pržno is located on the left bank of the Vsetínská Bečva at the foot of the Hostýnské hills. Cycle routes and hiking trails lead through the village, which connect the Vsetínské and Hostýnské vrchy with the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains.
Among the monuments here you will find the Church of the Evangelical Church of the Czech Brethren, the Catholic Church of the Nativity of Mary, the Baroque statue of Jan Nepomuck and the memorial Lípa.
