Obec Sudice

namesti P. Arnosta Jureczky 13, Sudice 747 25
Municipal office of Sudice.
The first written mention of Sudice is from 1327, when Prince Mikuláš II of Opava. sold the village to the Ratibor Dominicans.
In 1330, however, they were already held by Jindřich Svojše from Sudice.
Apparently, a fortress was built here in the 14th century, whose owners changed very quickly.
At the beginning of the 15th century, there was already a parish church here.
In the first half of the 16th century, Sudice was elevated to a small town and divided into two parts, which were joined in 1557 by the Oder
from Lidéřov.
Perhaps on the site of the original fortress, Jan Benedikt Panský from Šibice had a smaller baroque one built in the second half of the 17th century
the castle, which, however, was demolished in 1786 under the next owners of the Henneberks.
This was previously an independent farm of Sudice, since 1774 it was connected with the Dolnobenešov manor.
Today, Sudice is a modern village with a predominance of agricultural activity.
The village has a primary and kindergarten school, five grocery stores, two restaurants with all-day dining, a pub, a flower shop, a car repair shop and other services.
