The village of Bělá pod Pradědem is located in Silesia, in the district of Jeseník. In the center of the local part of Adolfovice, on the left bank of the Běla, we can find the remains of a medieval fortification.
The territory of Bělé pod Pradědem belongs to the Odra basin, or Kladské Nisas. The main stream is the north-facing Bělá River, which originates below Malý Děd and receives a number of smaller streams.
