The village of Bernartice is located in the Jeseník district in the Olomouc region. It covers an area of 2851 hectares and is located at an altitude of 247 m above sea level. The first written record of Bernartice dates from 1291, although according to the architectural character of the then church, the village is certainly older. The village also includes Buková and Horní Heřmanice. At present, our municipality has 882 permanent residents.
