Újezd Elementary School and Kindergarten, a contributory organization, is a complete primary school that provides education to 122 pupils in grades 1 to 9. Approximately 40 children attend kindergarten. It is a so-called exceptional school - that is, one that does not have the fullness of all classes stipulated by law. Mainly due to the helpfulness of the mayor and the municipal council, the school is at a very good material level compared to other village schools. The school is located in the center of the village.
The primary school is sufficiently equipped with textbooks and teaching aids. When teaching various subjects, teaching SW is used. Cabinets are equipped with collections of teaching aids. The school also boasts a classroom of workshops, practice kitchens, computer technology, a class with an interactive whiteboard and a class with the so-called e-Beam and a computer with internet connection.
The school also has a school cafeteria, school club, gym. The school is partly barrier-free.
The Újezd Kindergarten is located in close proximity to the Újezd primary school building. It is located in a quiet part of the village. Nearby we find a park and playground. It is currently attended by 39 children, who are divided into two classes. The children are cared for by three teachers. The kindergarten is located in a large ground floor building. In the adjoining garden, children have wooden elements, a large sandpit, a wooden crocodile, a garden house for outdoor toys and a house for games. The garden is richly planted with shrubs and trees. The interiors of the kindergarten are designed in a varied and cheerful way, and children also take part in the decoration with their creations.
