The village of Přáslavice is one of the oldest villages in Olomouc. The first written mentions date from 1131.
The village is located in the NE direction from Olomouc. We are the first village in the direction Olomouc - Lipník nad Bečvou. The construction of the Lipník - Slavonín highway changed the entire area around the village, which is criss-crossed by bridges and overpasses.
A highway feeder runs near the village, and the highway is currently being built.
The settlement of Kocourovec belongs to Přáslavice - 2 km away in the direction of Lipník.
There are military barracks of the Hanácky regiment 1 km from Kocourovec towards the NE.
The 73rd Mechanized Battalion is an all-army tactical unit of the Ground Forces of the Army of the Czech Republic.
The history and tradition of the battalion have their roots in the period of the end of the 30-year war, when it was established in the city of Brandenburg in 1655
Treplow infantry regiment, which was called "Hanásky" 262 years later. The battalion is one of the best parts of the ground forces when performing training tasks. It is designed to perform tactical tasks in the 7th Mechanized Brigade or independently.
Currently, the village is part of the Mikroregion Bystřička association. It contributes to the joint solution of ecological and
social problems.
