The first written report on the village of Mostkovice
dates from 1131 and is part of
list of bishops and chapters
property of Bishop Jindřich of Olomouc
Wall.
The village thus has an 877-year-old history.
The municipality of Stichovice, which was founded in
close neighborhood and belonged to one
estate, went down in history in
1078 according to the documents of the Hradisko monastery in
Olomouc. The development of both municipalities was ongoing
together, many events are therefore in
facts intertwine or relate to both
municipalities. Gradual convergence finally in the year
1950 resulted in a merger under the common
called Mostkovice, so it also includes
the former village of Stichovice.
Mostkovice is located 3.5 km east of
Plumlova and 4 km west of Prostějov
(beginning of residential development) on both
on the banks of the Hloučela river.
Current population 1447.
There is a water reservoir in the cadastre of the village
plumlov dam. It is about
a unique building of the French type.
Since the dam was filled, the surrounding area has become
an important national recreation area
importance.
Several tourist routes run through the municipality,
which conducts visitors slightly undulating
through the landscape of fertile Hané to the vicinity of the dam,
through wonderful landscape natural zones up to
to the nearby mixed forest stands of the beginning of the Drahan Highlands.
The village of Mostkovice is part of the Microregion
Plumlovsko.
TJ Sokol Mostkovice is an integral part
municipalities.
Concerts in the church, rare paintings –
the unearthing of a preserved miracle is underway.
OS was established in the village of Mostkovice in 2001

by local citizens and citizens from the region
